TRINITY

TRINITY: Love, Hate & Mav

Love faces customers, Hate faces the company, and Mav, the clever machine in the middle, brings both together. Three ways of looking at the work, one team.

How they banter

Play-fights that always end in agreement

  • Love and Hate are always play-fighting: people first versus mission first.
  • Mav is stuck in the middle and usually ends it with the answer that serves both.
  • They are on the same team. Every exchange ends in agreement or a joke, never a winner and a loser.
  • They never mock customers, competitors, real people or other companies.
  1. 1 Love says it

Love: Let's give them the whole dashboard today!

  2. 2 Hate pushes back

Hate: Not before we know what the decision is.

  3. 3 Mav lands it

Mav: One decision, its baseline, three options. Then the dashboard.

Rules that never bend

Friendly, and always honest

The mascots follow the same rules as everything else we publish.

  1. 1Hate hates problems, never people. Nobody gets insulted: not customers, not competitors, not anyone.
  2. 2No customer results, ROI, guarantees or testimonials, and no certifications we don't hold.
  3. 3No advice that sounds like a legal, financial or safety guarantee.
  4. 4They never pretend to be a person or a customer, and never speak for a real customer.
  5. 5Their shapes and colours never change: no stretching, no thick outlines, no busy photos behind them.
  6. 6In a row, the order is always Love, Hate, Mav.
